Interest for laminate stocks for the Savage Axis/Edge ?

Hi all

Just bought one of those in 223, and I hate the stock. I plan on making a couple of stocks in laminate, just wondering if there would be interests ? My biggest challenge will be to fit the mag, I got the trigger guard quite figured out by now.

I would love one. I was thinking of trading my axis in for a stevens 200.

If you get it figured out I want one ---- I have a 243 that my Grandson is shooting but the stock is a POS.

I started working on jigs and other ideas, I have a couple of jobs to do before I start this project, I'll keep you posted.

It's to bad they designed the trigger guard like that, I agree it would be a lot nicer looking as a single shot. Maybe a blind mag? Might be hard putting the cartridges in through the small ejection port.
