Interested in hearing some opinions on the S&W A/R selling for under $700.

I got one, was also my first AR. Its a great rifle for the money, and i was really surprised at the accuracy of it. If you want to try an AR, you can't really go wrong i think.
 
You can't build one out of quality parts for that price. Buy it and try it, if you don't like it you'll get your money back on the EE. I've heard nothing but good things.
 
I got one because of the price and wanting to try an AR. I have 0 regrets and would buy one again in a heartbeat. Plenty accurate and I don't find the trigger all that terrible. I have resisted upgrading parts for a while but the next sponsor with a Magpul sale will be getting an order from me. Buy it and enjoy!
 
I bought one, can't beat the price. It's my first AR the C7 & C8 are the only other experience I have with the AR platform. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying an AR.

Not sure if it counts but I've got an SW M&P-15 Sport 1 with a couple thousand rounds through it and it has been awesome. Accurate and Reliable. I wish they were this cheap when I bought mine. I use it for 3 gun and the only issues I've ever had have been 2 or 3 FTFs caused by bad mags. I would absolutely recommend it, especially at this price.
 
I've got 2, both with about 5000 rounds through them and they still work just great. I put some magpul stuff on them.
