Hey All

It’s been years since I’ve posted but I’m going to get back into collecting some cool oldies

A friend of mine is selling a couple firearms, but this one in particular is giving us some trouble identifying.

It’s a 410 half octo half round barrel that’s all we know but I’ve attached some pictures. Maybe one of you gun nutz can help me out.

Thanks in advance !

I am guessing, spanish El Faisan. My father had one sxs long time ago. Quality wasnt great to be honest.

More than just el Faizan produced this style of gun. Most are not around currently as per the above mentioned lower quality
I don't have my proof mark charts on this phone but you can google proof mark charts by house of country and see if you can match any to a particular house. That will narrow it down for you

I agree that those old odd guns can be fun. Intersurplus has several British named single shot 410s that I'm constantly fighting myself not to buy

Great little economy or "Garden Guns". I still carry an El Faisan double for grouse and rabbits in the bush. Unfortunately as of late, that finding 410 on the shelf anywhere local is nearly impossible.

It's available when I'm at you just don't want to see the price
Nothing on the shelf anywhere. Some appeared once in the past year at a mom & pop shop for which the owner is gouging. Thankfully my 22 works great for knocking the heads off ruffies and I can shop elsewhere.

We're even getting slugs and 000buck on the shelves here. For shot Challenger mostly then Troy and bps brands and now Remington express long range and Remington field but those come in a 20 pack.
Mostly all #4 #5 #6 in both 3" and 2.5".
Not much in #8
