My sister found me a bunch of pins from the Mackenzie Papineau Battalion that fought Franco in the civil war from what I'm reading anywhere from 1200-1600 Canadians including Dr Bethune volunteered fight .They weren't recognized by the Gov't and were seen as communists so they didn't really get a warm welcome home and apparently any paraphernalia is quite rare and I now have some excellent pins .If any of you guys have any info it would be great .
