I got this gun a few years ago and haven't been able to get much information on it, appears like a Englsih stalking rifle but the barrel is smoothbore at .590 diameter There are no proof marks on the barrel so not made in England, and the only name is on the top of the barrel shown in the pictures.
Workmanship is good not top quality but well made and engraving is well done.
The inside of the lock shows good workmanship and polishing on the springs

It might not look like it from the outside, but the barrel just might have oval bore rifling.
A somewhat egg shaped bore that you would have to fit a tight fitting patch down the barrel and see if there is any twist rate to it.
Maybe...
 
I have an oval bore as well and it is .018" between max and min dimension. Unless you suspect it might be an oval, it is easy not to notice it
