Ran across a BL22 at the Saskatoon gun show that had all the Browning stuff roll marked on the barrel, but it had ANSCHUTZ in a box and German proof stamps. We asked several gunners and gun smiths why this would be. Cornelius Ens came up with the answer. It had been sold in Germany and then likely came here with an immigrant.
