For anyone interested there is a article on reloading rimfire ammo in the october issue of handloader magazine.(it will be on newsstands until nov.20th.)
in the magazine they solder a piece of copper in the primer hole and turn it down on a lathe then drill a offset hole for a blank.
nothing new there and not as good as the way we do it but a interesting read anyway.
 
That method can be done and I've also brazed up old berdan primed snider shells to use large pistol primers too.... Just recut them in the lathe and you're good to go. At some point I may try making offset 32 cases as well.
