Interesting SVT40 mount

Just came across this SVT40 optic mount on some Russian forum, apparently made by someone here in Canada. Anyone seen it before or got any info on it?

svt 40 weaver/picatinny rail scope mount for 118 bucks , i got one from them and it sure looks close to that

Theres also the addley precision mount thats made in Canada and similar to that. I also got the same shell deflector from a Russian Guy at Silverdale.

It's similar to the one that Corwin sells (https://www.corwin-arms.com/product/svt-40-weaverpicatinny-rail-scope-mount) but at least aesthetically a little different.

Yeah that is really nice. Looks better than anything I've seen so far, I just ordered a corwin arms one of a fellow cgn'r but I think if this was available to the masses I might have to buy one. I wonder if you have to have a sniper notch for it to work because of the 2 small bolts and removable flange on the top?????

Yup that flange sits in the notch, Which is super cool design feature. and it looks like the nut in the back is to take out the slack.

I still prefer my repo mount and scope, Since you dont have to remove it to clean the SVT. But This mount also now has my attention.

Need more love for the SVT shooter. We are lucky as Canadians to have these rifles on the cheapish side of things so new options would be nice, even just a few wood stock options, a few decent (new) rails, more metal magazines available nothing crazy and plastic and lame just some gear ffs. Rant over.

That looks GREAT!!! May have to get one of those as well when they become available with the shell deflector! I have a repro mount and original scope, but that would be great to mount more powerful optics!

Looks like you would have some kind of "Beard Weld" with that Acog in the bottom pic though! Hahaha
