Has anyone noticed internal differences between Cz/Vz's from say 2-3 years ago and Vz's now? Im not referring to the FSN or CSA's i mean the VZ's. I bought a non restricted cz858 in 2009, sold it and now have purchased a restricted vz58. It could be because they are manufactured for the same company in a different factory, or it could be that i have lost my mind. The bolt carrier is finished differently, and the bolt has a sharp angle cut on it that my cz858 (i think) didnt have. The strikers end that stays out of the bolt is also cut totally differently. Anyone notice things like this?
On a side note, the vz58 that was originally ordered for me from wolverine through milarm here had huge trigger issues. Not the gremlin but the trigger simply wouldn't reset. it would stay depressed at the rear of the trigger guard and all kinds of other weird ####. I have never seen it in a cz before. But the boys always take care of me and I'm looking forward to getting a new VZ, the proof marks are awesome on them as opposed to the cz858 and the short barrel is how they are meant to look!
