Think buying firearms related optics out of the US is pretty much over.
Couple years back, when looking to upgrade, I spent some considerable time surfing and surveying optics dealers stateside. For the most part, the competitive ones were all within nickels and dimes of each other on pricing, while the rest were basically out to lunch.
I did snag a couple good deals off of Ebay, but I was careful, very patient, and had the will power to quit bidding when my limit was exceeded.
But now most Ebay dealers stateside won't ship to Canada, either.
The clamp down has been pretty effective, it would seem.

They have license to ship to Canada, and their customer service is second to none.
Their prices are very good on certain models, average on others.
