Interview for PAL

Did you send in your application before you got your test results?
 
Myself and my two references were interviewed twice within 10 days. Must of been a slow day at the old CFO........
 
I used my ex wife as one of my references since every other question seemed to have something to do with either current or past relationships. Even though we had been divorced longer than the time frame on the application called for, just figured this would cover my ass.

During my interview I was asked why I wanted my RPal and I told the RCMP lady that I took the combo course cause I saved money doin the way and hell maybe someday I might be interested in a handgun... she chuckled and agreed about the saving money part.

It was very pleasant and nothing out of the ordanary.. mostly the same question as on the application.

When I got my NR-PAL not a soul was contacted on my application, and it was even processed and approved 5 days prior to the "cooling off" period expiring... I have been called though for a few friends NR-PAL's as i was their reference... so really its a crap-shoot i think

I see you are flying my family's coat of arms :D Very Nice....can you point me to where I can get a copy of the 'Sans Peur' image without the CBC Logo embedded? Thanks
