Hi all. My username is my real name, one that I have had for quite a few decades now. I was glad to find a Canadian forum to read and hopefully participate a bit in. I should say up front that I am not a rabid firearms user, but I do enjoy plinking paper targets these days. I used to hunt the odd partridge, but I've pretty much gone away from killing these days (unless it has to happen ie: varmints in the garden etc.) .... nothing personal, I don't hold it against anyone who does .... just how I happened to evolve I guess. I have a small selection of long guns, mostly with family links attached to them ... my Granddad's 25 cal Eatonia, which he bought just after WW1, my wife's uncle's mid-50's model 94 in 30-30 which hasn't seen a box of shells yet, and a couple of others. Long retired, I spend my days gardening, woodworking and doing some lawn and garden warranty work to keep my hand in and my brain working.
Anyway, that's me.
