The MILSPEC Difference.
Despite the name, not all PVS-14’s are created equal. The Opfor PVS-14 uses a true US MILSPEC PVS-14 housing, which offers superior standards for durability such as vibration, immersion, shock and thermal shock over PVS-14 housing clones often used by competitors. The Opfor PVS-14 also uses the same US MILSPEC lenses that is in use with US Military PVS-14 devices. In comparison to the glass commonly found in commercial night vision devices, this glass results in less distortion, better resolution and better light transmission. This allows the Opfor PVS-14 to better optimize the performance of the night vision tube selected for the best possible performance.
