Our gun smith decided to have some fun and whipped up some gun magic.

The SKS-58 is based off a Russian SKS receiver and accepts factory CZ/VZ-58 Magazines! They come with a 1 year warranty through us.

Ooof that’s like 2 sks KD’s, at that price does it still retain the function of the bho working with the vz58 mags? I get one if you got more of the converted 223/5.56 sks’s that take ar mags.

Before this thread rolls into its typical fashion.

The gun has to be reversed engineered to accept a VZ mag. Bolt has to be re-machined, a mag release system had to be designed from scratch, the receiver milled down, the stock machined and filled.... the list goes on.

Bringing something new and fun to the market is not a cheap thing to do as these have to be done by hand.

Our smith worked hard on these.

So before y'all start complaining that it isn't the price of a regular SKS plus a 35.00 magazine, understand a lot more goes into things than a a harry potter spell.

I don't doubt that a lot of work went into them, but I'm not sure if it was time well spent for the price needed. It's always nice to see something new come out though. I hope they find good homes and are enjoyed by the new owners.

No, we did not want to ruin collector grade SKSs for this project. It has a fresh parkerized finish.

Plus all the complaining about price, I couldn't imagine it being $50.00 more. There would be rioting in the streets.

If your gunsmith ever gets bored and wants to make another .223 SKS I would be very interested. Kicking myself for not buying the last one. This one is cool and please keep letting your gunsmith be creative.
