I'm looking for a good dual-purpose scope for a 20'' barreled AR15 and according to what I've seen for now, the IOR 1.1-4X28 tactical seems to be a significantly less expensive alternative to S&B's Short Dot scope. According to Snipercountry.com (who tested an older version), it is just as fast as an aimpoint sight when used in 1.1 power while being possible to quickly switch to 4X power, wich is exactly what I am looking for.
But I haven't seen any reviews about that scope other than that.
So if anyone here own one or already tried one, I'd like to know what you think about that scope.
And also, is the illumination bright enough to make it still clearly visible in sunny conditions and how is battery life?
