Well lets have the experts weigh in on what they like/dislike about the following MR scopes. I would be particulary interested in what people think about the IOR line.

Mark 4 1.5-5x20mm MR/T M2 IR
1-4x24 NXS
IOR 1.1-4x26 Tactical 30mm Rifle Scope

I like the luepold, crystal clear optics, awesome IR and just a beautiful all around scope, especially for the price point. :)

Maybe I gave you TOOOO good a deal on that scope........ :p

I have the Leuply 1.5 - 5 X 20mm M/RT and it is a great scope.I especially like the Illum. SPR reticle and the low adjustment turrets. The Elev. turret has a stop so when you turn back to zero, that is where the turret stops.

I have only looked at and used the IOR 4X32 scope and I didn't like the way the reticle adjusted. When I got the scope zero'd, the reticle was not centered in the field of view. it was high and off to one side.

I also did not like the little screws on top of the turrets that you loosen to re-zero the turrets. They were little phillps screws that get chewed up.

It also looked "clunky".

I have not used or seen the Nightforce scope.

But from what I hear, IF you can afford it, go for the Schmidt & Bender 1-4X Short Dot. KevinB swears by it!!!

I have a IOR Tactical M1 . I like it.
Rangefinder and illuminated, cristal clear optics..... beats Leupold by far... at least for me.

The rubber eyecup brings sweet memories, but some hate it.
Never had the chance to extesively try the NSX , so I can't say, but as far as Leupold goes, I think they have a larger variety, but does not exceed the IOR in quality/optics.

However, the papers (manual-wannabe) is awful for the IORs . some kid just playing with a Xerox machine in a damp dark basement.
