Montana gold 147gr, or SPeer plated 147gr loaded ammo from Combat masters. Now shooting 147gr FMJ Canadian BDX projectile loaded ammo. I would also shoot 124gr FMJ Canadian BDX ammo if need be. It all works great. Power factor is buzzing around 135-136.

Used to shoot 124s and recently switched to 115s, I really like the load I made and will be using 115s in the future.

AIM 147's group much better out of my CZ than any 124's and 115's i've tried.

They feel much better when I shoot as well.
Less muzzle flip and less perceived recoil.

Looking at it from a slightly different angle; anyone who is fighting with "shooters elbow" will have less pain from shooting the heavier 147 grain bullet.

I bought the Lyman 147 gr mold for casting my own from wheelweights. Mold drops them out at 156 gr using straight WW. Load is extremely soft shooting at PF of 130. 2.7 gr of 231 is all that is required to make PF. Heaveier bullets produce less recoil at the same PF which results in less muzzle flip.

Take Care

I will be going to my first match at the end of may, I will be shooting 124 but just because that is what is easiest to get.
