My wife just made herself two pairs of IPSC pants for women where they can wear the belt around the hips. She bought some khaki's/BDU's and when hemmed allowed her to make up 5 loops per pair of pants.... I just stuck to regular khaki's....As per current IPSC rule book; ...."The belt or inner belt or both must be either permanently fixed at the waist, or secured with a minimum of 3-belt loops."
So can some one tell me why women can wear the gun and holster around thier hips and not in the same place as the men .
The reason being is that women's beltline is way higher than men's beltline and it will not be practical for women to holster their gun and magazine way too high..... I am talking about women's style of pants before the hip huggers came out.
I guess when they made this rules women pre-dominantly wear pants with beltline goes way up over the belly button-just bellow their b00bs.
I am sure some of you can picture the style of belt line I am talking about....
Damn.. if IPSC does not give this exception to women shooters......imagine if you are a Lady shooter.. how challenging it would be to draw your gun just underneath your armpit .....
just my 2-cents
