If I wish to make any motions at the AGM do I need to make them in writing? If so who do I send them to?

Well since the title of the thread indicates the IPSC Canada AGM an since John Mc has indicated before that he is going to the Nationals this year I am going to go out on a limb and say that he is asking about the AGM in Halifax.

That being the case I would suggest that an email to Sean or Quigley should get it on the agenda.

Sorry, this thread slipped by me until I got an email from John and that reminded me that I saw it sometime past.

There are no motions from the floor at the IPSC Canada AGM. It is an information only meeting.

All motions, policies and decisions about IPSC in Canada are handled by the National Executive Council, that includes the elected representatives of the 9 sections.

IPSC Canada is majority ruled. You bring your concerns to the section rep. He determines if it represents the majority opinion of his section, if it does he takes it to the national org. (NEC) and they determine if it represents the majority opinion of thier members. If a majority wants it - a majority gets it.
