Anyone point me to sources (web sites are best) for belts, holsters, mag pouches....

Canadian is best, but I'll buy from the states too...

Brand new to the sport....need some gear for my BB course....

.

I (and many others) started out with your basic black nylon 2-inch 'duty' belt, a one-size-fits-all Uncle Mike's nylon holster, and police surplus leather mag pouches with the flaps cut off. Total cost at somewhere like Dave's Surplus will be well under $100.

Contrast that with the 'full on rig' - depending on how full-on you want to get - where the holster alone can run you more than $200, and mag pouches can be in the neighbourhood of $50 each.

I ran my basic stuff for the first year I was competing. I upgraded my holster to a custom Kydex from Bladetech the following year, and just this year (my 5th) bought some 'nice' mag pouches and a competition belt. I don't get enough time to practice to be very competitive, so the gear I had suited my shooting ability.

Starting with basic gear lets you feel the sport out before you take the plunge and break the bank on the high-end stuff.

Take a look at Double Tap Sports. We have everything you need and more

Frank Nardi at CRAFM/2Alpha, or Josko at Double Tap sports.

I also have purchased from Sean at Freedom Ventures. All these guys are very easy to talk to, and have treated me well. I ask questions before I buy, and they also answer my emails quickly. They all Support the shooting sports. They are also others listed in the dealer sections.
Tetragon and Murray Gardner sell some gear, as does Daves Surplus,911 supply, and WOLVERINE and the Shooting Edge.
Good place for ammo is Canadian BDX, Wolf Hoffman. Marstar sells guns, ammo, and all kinds of neat things.
Viking out of NS has some nice gear as well.(and they have some good footwear on sale I think Oakley?, 5.11, etc..)
I am missing others obviously, but I could go on and on.
