Limiting rounds in the mag is a much better way of doing it.

so you are going to have RO's either counting rounds in the mags, or shots on the COF to enforce this??

RO: "Hmm now.. did he just shoot 10 rounds, or eleven "...

Or

lets spend 5 mins taking rounds out of mags, count them, then put them back in the mags..

talk about making things more complex then they need to be..

It was not the Boards intention to distribute this publically available info by mass distribution...or more accuratly...an inviation for a mass of emails, opinions, rants...

We don't need keyboard cowboys...we need volunteers...

You don't get volunteers if you don't ask, or you don't tell the members that this is a "big task" And needs people to run with it..

You can't assume that all members go to IPSC GV to see what is going on.. you have to tell them what is happening and say "we don't have the time to deal with this.. if YOU think it's important, then YOU help volunteer to run with it".. if you can't do that. then all you get is a board that appears to be operating in their own best interests and not the members..

The board is there to lead.. be a leader and ask for volunteers.. if they fail to show up, then there is no one to blame but the members themselves..
