IPSC ICS update

anyone recall how often they update? I realize it is volunteer so I don't want to bother them too much!;)
 
Should be updated within 24 hours after submission of results, but it does stuck some times. So, you may have to ping them
 
I was told that the updates are automatic. Make sure you're submitting with the most current WinMSS, that worked for me.

Sometimes I forget that before you were climbing the IPSC competition ladder, you wore a Solaris hat. ;)

still waiting for an update///argh.
I am guessing I went up in classification for standard. I think I made it into high B or Low A. Shot 4 classifiers back in 2008,..tanked them all but one,..then shot 4 at the NB provincials which I think are good. Time will tell.

While the majority of the IPSC world is volunteer, ICS ain't. The WinMSS programmer & IPSC get paid for every ICS score submitted so there should be a reasonable response time. Bug the match director to confirm submission - he in turn should be contacting ICS - if he's getting no satisfaction; he should be copying me so I can join the nag crew.

Thanks for the info, they have them at ICS,...I was told last week (11th) they already had them, and would be by in by the first of this week.
 
Biggest problem I had with ICS was that the automatic submission doesn't seem to work. ie WinMSS has a feature to send the results automatically to the guy, but they never seem to get there. I don't know where the error is, but I always have to export the xml file and email it to the guy myself.

yeah,...pretty sure George emailed them as well. OUr local stats guy hates the new version,...he always uses the older one.
 
The whole reason for the direct submission via WinMSS was because some of the emails sending them in seemed to be getting lost in the ether. Going back to emailing seems to be a step backwards.

I experienced this same problem and in July I was told that email submissions were no longer accepted. Once I upgraded MSS it worked perfectly, and the updates were online very quickly.

well, hopefully ICS updates it soon. Still nothing. *** updates completed....thanks whoever pushed the magic button! B International and in the middle B Nationally.
