sitting in Bardufoss Norway right now, heading to bed soon, even though it's still super bright out at midnight. Here for the aptly named Midnight Sun Shoot, saw some of the stages today and it looks like to be a good challenging match. This will put me at 125 stages in the last 6 weeks not bad, all level IIIs as well. Last week was Dead Wolf Open about 2hrs from Oslo, before that was the Gothenburg Challenge/Cops Cup in Sweden (really good match on a helluva nice range). Next week is likely my last match in Lithuania, although I might take in the one in Moscow before I head home in July.
I'll try and get some pictures up, but my wifi connections over here have ranged from bad to worse, currently having dial up speeds at the campsite. Sigh, first problems.
Overall I am still of the opinion that the matches over here in Europe are of a higher quality and tougher challenge that what I am used to seeing back home. Match management is especially better. I'm not 100% sure why it is so with the management side of things, but they can hammer more shooters through over here than I've ever seen back home, and have the results up and ready instantly if they like (verification aside). Probably the most impressive is the match in Tallin with maximum of 5 shooters in a squad, 20 stages in 4.5hrs is pretty amazing. Although last weekend shooting 13 stages in 1.5hrs was amazing too.
Tomorrow should be fun, RO the RO's and some match sponsors and then shoo the main match on the weekend (jaw willing).
