I know some may think this belongs in the reloading area; however I am not interested in reloading but rather a specific load for IPSC using Excel Premium 10 mm/40 – 190 black coated. to make major in Para. The powder I am using is Tite Group. Any insights welcome. I am looking to shorten my work up to a load time.

Would those be the old 180 grains which have been around so long that they have been tarnished black, and gained 10 grains of oxidation

;) ;) ;) ;)

I still have 500-pcs of those Excel black coated FMJ 190 grain bullets. Marty use to make them for extra price than his regular copper coated FMJs. I bought them a few years back when Excel use to make a "better quality (ahem!)" projectiles.

Try 4.5gr Titegroup to start 1.165 overall length. You should make major no problem. This would be a good place to start.

it's not about how well you shoot, its about how you look shooting.

I am soooo screwed!
