Can anyone tell me how far ahead IPSC has its nationals planned? and the proposed location as well?

Well the 2007 match is in BC and I knew that in August at this years.

The 2008 Nationals will be in Lethbridge, Alberta. I'm guessing the dates will be 30 Jul to 3 Aug 2008.


I don't think the location for the 2009 Nationals has been decided but I'd imagine they'd be down east somewhere; most likely Ontario.

Just heard from Angus during buying some more unethical springs and such and he mentioned that he will come to the 2007 Nationals.

I wonder how many bigger names might come out seeing as how the Canadian Nationals is less than a week before the Area 1 Championships, and the Area 1's are being held in Seattle, just a couple hours south of Vancouver...

Yes.
At the National Executive Meeting during the 2007 Nationals, bids will be reviewed for 2009. It's hoped that Central Canada or Eastern Canada will have representatives, as we like to rotate around the country; so more of our members participate.

It is a major undertaking to host the Nationals so someone has to want to do it and we have to know that they're capable of it. We prefer that it be determined 2 years ahead so that the hosts have plenty of time to organize.
