IPSC looks attractive.
is it true it can be done with a rifle? any restrictions? also- i know a lot of ranges do IPSC pistol- but if rifle more or less common? What about shotgun?

There are handgun, rifle and shotgun IPSC Matches. All require that the shooters has completed the Black Badge Course. Have a look on the IPSC Ontario website with how to get hooked up with a course.

Handgun is by far the most dominate IPSC Discipline in Ontario and Canada. There are very few IPSC Shotgun and Rifle Matches held in Canada. It would be nice to see it become more popular! All 3 Disciplines can be combined into a 3 Gun Tournament, or Grand Tournament. Hope this helps.
