so I am off that weekend. Checked the AC flights, decent price, and they leave at 8pm on the Sunday night so I could be back in time for work the next morning. So now some questions. Is the Northern Zone Champ a level III? or a Level II? is it even an actual sanctioned IPSC match? I see a Texas star in the match copy, and while I love them, they aren't approved targets. I haven't been up to Terrace for a match yet, but the match copy for both days looks great. Any info on these matches would be appreciated.

what kind of weather can we expect? I know it was often miserable in PG at the May long weekend match.

it can be chilly in the morning but gets warmer in the afternoon, the mountain hides the sun in the morning! bring raingear just in case.

And see you there John!

Chilly.........??????????

Pshaw!!

Bermuda shorts and hawaiian shirts will be the order of the day :D

Actually....who knows.

The range sits tight up to the mountain so we don't usually get the sun til about 10am.

Last year it was hotter than heck...sunblock was required equipment.

You never know that time of year. After the winter we had I am thinking we deserve some SUN!

John

If you are to fly to Terrace, airport is may be 20 mins (or less) from the range, and hotel we were at last Aug. - about 10 mins (or less) from the range.

Food is not an issue at the Northern. We go out there on friday night for the 17.00 Prime Rib Special.

I can not comment on the The Cooper River Motel, as I have never been in there.

Both are about the same distance from the range.

The Best Western in downtown Terrace is good. Walking distance from some good resteraunts, but still only a 10 min drive to the range.
