The next IPSC Canada Black Badge Certification course is scheduled for December 2/3 - 2017 at the Atlantic Marksmen Association Indoor Range in Halifax, NS.

This course is the mandatory introductory course for anyone who wants to shoot IPSC in Canada. It teaches advanced handgun techniques; safely surmounting obstacles, moving and shooting, drawing, changing sources of ammunition on the fly, weak hand shooting, strong hand shooting and various shooting positions. It also teaches the fundamentals of the IPSC rules.

This course is made for IPSC Shooting. If you are looking for advanced handgun training, and not interested in participating in IPSC Shooting,
PLEASE look elsewhere for your firearms training.

Pre-Registration is mandatory and closes November 27th since I have to get the students package to the participants before the class. You are registered when your payment is received.

and mail it in with your entry fee if you want in or scan a filled out form and email it with the EMT.

YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED BOTH A SIGNED FORM AND FULL PAYMENT

Note that this class will be limited to the first **10** participants that send in their fee. Anyone past that will definitely receive a refund and be put on the wait list for the next course.

If you are lacking in any of the below equipment requirements; don't hesitate to contact me. I usually can point you towards a source for equipment and ammo.

What is required to take the course:
- A centerfire handgun; 9mm or bigger caliber that you must have unlimited access to. (Tokarevs & their replicas are not eligible)
- A holster that protects the trigger guard of the gun.
- At least 2 magazines or speed loaders and pouches to hold them - but the more you have, the easier it is for you.
- 400 rounds of ammunition; Un-coated lead bullets are not permitted; plated, coated or jacketed ammunition is OK.
- eye and ear protection.
- $200.00.
- Be able to shoot 10 out of 10 shots from a relaxed standing position with two hands at 20 yards on a regular piece of paper with no time limit. (This is an advanced type of shooting course, if you don't have the basic shooting skills, you will get left behind)
- Ability to attend all day Saturday and Sunday and complete an open book exam in the few days prior to the course.

- Ability to Shoot in IPSC matches (12 will be held in Nova Scotia this year around the province - hundreds throughout the country)
