hey,

Just saw the email with the results of the vote, option 3 (which was the combination of level 2s, level 3(s), and ICS) won on the first vote...

Cool...

We'll have to see the implementation fineprint/details, but hopefully this will put this topic to sleep for a while

I'll admit... I am quite surprized by the results.

But as I said before, it is very refreshing that the Board has approached its' membership and asked for their input on the proposed changes.

I applaud them!

I realize that in this big province it would be difficult (impossible) to please everybody. We shoot different matches... some matches are more important to us than others... some shoot state-side or in far off foreign countries others do not... some never leave their home club and others do huge road trips...

I guess what I am trying to say is we are all in this sport for different reasons and our needs in this sport are different.

Congratulations to all the clubs and club members that let their voices be heard.

So I guess we have to find/put on ICS stages and pay the associated fees? Hope we can still get classified....the old system was simpler to do.

I curious how long the new system will take to dump me down to a lower class

so if you never shoot level 3s...does this mean you get no classification?

Yea, you think any of those guys from Ottawa know how to use a screw gun we could use all the help we can get building 8 or 9 stages. ;)

will level 3s be more common now? Does this mean that I have lost my class from last year?

USP,
who cares?
Are in for win or fun?
If for win you gonna be good soon, if for fun, what really mathers?

Greetings

eh... it cost me a small fortune to get to C class... I would prefer to stay there for awhile, and not have to work back to getting there again. BTW if you never shoot level 3s and only level 2s does this mean you basically ####ed? I cant get alot of time off to shoot a level 3 with it being a 2 day event.

Most Level 3's are a 1 day event if you choose not to work the match...

We will be phasing this in...so there will be a grace period...but you will need to shoot Level 3's, 2's and ICS if you wish to maintain an Ontario Classifiction...

I thought it would be impossible to shoot a level 3 without working for a day? If you make level 3s mandatory, can you increase the match fee or have an option where you pay to have somebody patch the following day?

USP this is where we at the PF&GA are hoping to change the way traditional level 3's are done. I don't have all the answers yet but clearly there are a couple area's we will have to look at like this two day thing and patching.
We are looking forward to the challenge
So BEAR with us :bangHead:

yeah if there were more level 3 it would be nice. Was sort of suprised that Drama Daze last year wasnt a level 3, as it was a good big match.
