Ipsc renewal

HB, I thought there were some North Western Albertans who only had BC memberships and vice versa with some BC guys in Alberta, simply due to closeness of clubs? Maybe I'm misremembering?

There have been times when BC or Alberta residents had membership in the other Province's section, but it was always in addition to their own. It happens for various reasons, usually known only to the individual. Since IPSC BC and IPSC Alberta agreed to track each other's members as if they were their own (for classification purposes) I think it happens less frequently now.
 
I could certainly see for some people living close to provincial boarders that it may be closer to join a club in a different province. Some people may be in the middle of two clubs but prefer to join one in a different province.

I do understand why IPSC Canada may not like people joining clubs in other provinces then they reside.
