I started shooting ipsc last year and I’m a little confused with how percentages are calculated on PractiScore and how classification works.
1. I look at a specific match. When I list all the divisions, my overall percentage is lower then when I look at production only (42% production only and 40.67% will all divisions). How come this changes ? Is it that my % ranking is always based on the top shooter in PractiScore? So when I list all the shooters, the top shooter being Open will affect where I stand ? Versus when I look only at production, then the top shooter to whom I get pegged becomes the production one ?
2. I tried understanding on ipscquebec’s website how the classes work and I’m not sure i get it. It says that for C & D classes, it’s the average of the best 4 Level 2 matches. What if I shot a L3. Would that one be calculated as one of the 4 matches needed, since I did better on the L3 then some of the earlier L2’s I shot ?
3- when calculating the average of the last 4 matches, do I take the overall percentage or only the one for my division?
Thanks in advance.
