Funny, EVERYONE was totally ignoring me when I was pointing out that baby eagles' SA would not reliably pass 3lb barely out of the factory... I posted the same msg a few times, and every single time it was just skipped over, without anyone even making any references to it... ohh, well.... Just ignore the comments which blow your idea apart, and proceed regardless, I guess.
I'm glad that idea was put aside (FOR NOW), but I doubt it had anything to do with any of the 'senior management' changing their mind about it...
as far uspsa proposing it, it does make sense, since they officially endorse trigger jobs - so they are just setting a bottom limit to how much you can modify it. With ipsc, no trigger work is 'officially' allowed, but if you put in a test, you're basically giving up on the idea of no modifications, and it becomes like uspsa... which, probably, it already actually is, but no one is ready to admit that, haha
it shouldn't be 3lb, though, too many guns, with prod-legal configs won't pass that reliably.
