IPSC World Shoot - Bali, Indonesia

2nd day. I had a lousy day, mostly due to my hotel not having breakfast available, so off to range with no food, no coffe and no juice, and then nothing to drink for 2.5 hours there. I was dehydrated and low sugar and it showed. Hotel blasted when I returned by competitors and supposedly will be fixed tomorrow. didn't hear anything about standard and open teams. Clint had a good day. delays yesterday meant were were rushed and jerked around today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
No DQ's so far I think.
Kilt is doing its part to keep me cool.

hehe, hey Ron, I believe Dave is having a life changing experience rooming with me. LOL
Having a great breakfast today, raring to go, but we get back at night and we are exhausted fairly early. lots of R&R around the pools to rechrge batteries.

day 3, it seemed less humid, or we are just getting used to it. pretty good day for our team, solid shooting by everyone, but yesterday really hurt our scores. and the level of competition is pretty high. another early day tomorrow, up at 4:30 but at least we will have breakfast.

Highlight of my match so far:

Accidentally squeezing my bottle of Eric Fast Grip so hard that it sprayed out and got all over Alan's glasses, his face and in his hair.

This match is definitely easier than in Ecuador.

4th day. Clint continues to shoot a solid match. and yes for those of you wondering why I don't talk much about the other teams, its because we really don't see them much. I can only give more details about the production team, even if we are not as good as I thought we were. I shot solid today, starting to stretch a little and regained some points on Clint. Jim is having problems due to the match ammo, he is fighting a 17 pound first shot to set the primers off. Slavex is shooting OK, just not seeming to get any momentum. we passed the chrono today, lots of room. Looks like we lost a standard shooter to a DQ. and perhaps another shooter to heat stroke.
5th day of shooting tomorrow and so we are cleaning up our bags to make sure we leave all our ammo on the range tomorrow.

Hammer spring is hard enough for Jim using the factory spring,..than he should look at his OEM firing pin.....it may be peened a bit or possible too short. Just for ####s and giggles,..ask him to replace the firing pin,.what is the worst that could happen?

CLiff Meek was actually 99th,.. Robert Engh at 104th,...all within 16points of each other,...Jims problems with the Armscor ammo set him back to 153rd.

D SPencer was 9th ladies OPen.
W. Hoffman 7th seniors open.

WOW,..Eric Grauffel won by over 5%. THat is nearly 140points! KC even bettered MM!

Travis Tomassie is the new WORLD standard Champion,...just edged out Blake Miquez! Blake Miquez just freaks me out. Shoots like Taran Butler,..but runs like TOdd Jarrett.
