IR Lasers - ATPAL, DBAL, MAWL..etc?

I know there's some new import/ export- FDA, ITAR regs and I'm wondering if there is any reliable place to get one. ATPALs, DBALs, MAWLs....or dare say NGAL or Wilcox?! Anyone with experience, it would be greatly appreciated!
 
No easy reliable way sadly, even cold harbor cant. Issue is with export out of the usa, they dont want their fancy ir to end up in places…despite giving it away to iraq and afgans for free. They ae out there and do show upmfor sale regularly, expect to pay a premium. I know of places in europe selling MAWL and other newer models that are being exported illegally but again youre paying a premium.
Easy options for new are the newcon laser that rdsc sells, holosun, and perst
 
Best to look up a Middle Eastern eBay. Not joking.

Only issue is you may be financing a terrorist organization who happened to come into a whole bunch of good kit.
 
Ivan the bear (ivantactical dot com) is where I got my Perst (which I subsequently sold). Just ordered a ZenitCo Klesh-1+IR laser that might be a nice in-between unit as the Perst 3 has illuminator but the Perst 4 does not. The Perst lasers are incredibly powerful and will readily cause eye damage, so be safe. The Klesh I ordered has an LED illuminator and a lower wattage, but still very powerful IR laser. I'm guessing it will be a lot like a souped up Streamlight TLR VIR II, but I won't know until I get it.
 
Bumping thread.

Does anyone know if the Ebay Perst units coming from Russia have any import issues? Not sure the the import regulations on these units. Don't really want to take the gamble with that kind of money.

i would like to know this too. also be advised that the PERST apparently are a higher power than the US "civilian" models so watch your eyes

as others have said the problem is US export and them no approving new exports of lasers, at least thats what i remember I Run telling me when i asked about getting a MAWL.

Yes, my understanding is can't get them out of the US due to US rules, not Canadian issue. I'm still concerned the over paid mall cops at CBSA are getting sticky with the made up rules and seizing such devices.
