Irish surplus vest better than i expected

Just received my surplus Irish lvl 4 vest today. I have to say it is in much better condition than i expected. The XL fits my tubby self perfectly too. Thanks for the vest.

Whats your waist size & weight if you don't mind me asking, the only reason I didn't jump on this is because I was worried about sizing. Or if you don't want to post that info, who would teh XL fit on that's famous? Thanks!

I'm a 38 waist and 260lbs with a decent spare tire lol. My wife says I'm more John goodman in the flint stones but not as big as Roseanne goodman or willy from duck dynasty.

I would go large, a bit too big is better than too small.

I think a XL would do fine for me then, I know sizing is really important when getting fitted for a BPV otherwise they can be uncomfortable and useless/dangerous unless taking the round head on. You got any pics of the vest by chance, it'd be appreciated.
