Iron sight view through scope mount?

Does anybody know if you can still shoot using the iron sights (M14) even though a scope mount is on the gun (With no scope attached)

Can you see the sights on the M14 even though there is a scope mount installed?

Depends on your mount. The ARMS #18 is low enough that without rings, you can see the sights over the top of the mount. Some other mounts you may be able to see under them with or without rings.

Most of them do, either over or under.

I have one of those Leeper mounts and I can use the sights to set up the EOTech or a scope. No good for shooting but I can see a little.
