Is 00 buckshot safe to use with full choke shotgun?

Hi,

I own two shotguns and i would like to know if it is safe to use 00 buckshot with them. The shotguns are:

Mossberg 535 3.5" with interchangable chokes

Brazilian (cbc) single shot shotgun 2.5"

I am using lead shots. If. You have use it and it worked for you (or didnt work for you) id like to read about it.

Gawd the 'Not a slug in a full choke!' gets old, eh?
 
Any fixed or internal threaded full choke is fine for any lead ammunition including slugs. I have owned external threaded chokes that were marked warning not to use slugs.

Duly noted. I honestly haven't messed around with shotguns with change-able chokes. Not a big shot gunner, but I have shot a deer or 4 with them in the day. Marlin Goose Gun is a hammer with 3" slugs Lol
 
I have shot hundreds of both 00Buck (.33cal balls) & 000Buck (.36cal balls) and maybe 200 slugs through my 30"full choke barrel with aplomb.
Recoil pads are fer' pussies ��
 
If you Fite slugs or a heavy load through that old single I can promise it'll get your attention.
I shot a slug through my 16 ga. Made my teeth hurt.

oh. I wasn't aware of that. I was always under the impression no slugs for full choke. Thanks :)

Remington had a disclaimer of what was safe to use in full choked guns on their ammo.
Always pays to read the information on the box.

Pull both triggers of your 16ga double, choked mod/full (modern full/extra full), loaded with 1 1/4oz, at the same time, that will rattle your teeth :)
