Is $300 bucks fair??

I get a kick out of us gun guys... We fuss and gripe about $50 like it's this huge deal, then (for example), we put a thousand bucks plus worth of tires on our trucks and beat the crap out of them! Buy it if you like it, shoot it and have fun - you won't regret the extra few bucks to have something you like...

don't believe i could have said it better

just because it goes bang doesn't mean it worth a heck of a lot.

i would only pay between 125 -160 $ to have it decorate my gun run

but thats just me.
 
Picked up a CIL ( same thing as the Savage ) last month at a local gun show for $175.00. It's a 30-30 mind you but it's in great shape and came scoped. Now try and find a couple of extra mags at a reasonable price. :)
 
You would be hard pressed to get your money back. It has a higher demand becuse it is 222, but still not worth 300, maybe 200. If you don't really want it then wait for something "you have to have". JMHO
 
Personally i dont think they are ugly

they have character... mine is 43 years old and will still kill coyotes just as good as a new one....



put it on the ee between November and February and it will sell lots of people looking for coyote guns under $400
