They shot great but did a ton of damage. Shot was 263 yards and it was a pass through but really extensive meat damage. Shot went in behind shoulder and out the neck.
Is a 139-grain Interbond enough?

Ya, finding a light but accurate bullet for the 7RM can be a challenge but I'm impressed from what I've seen so far. I think most people shoot way too heavy of bullets in the 7mm and I really hoped we could find something for Vanessa in the 140-range that would shoot but still hold together on larger critters. I think we succeeded! She has her .30-06 for moose and elk sized game and the 7mm seems to fit nicely for deer/sheep/antelope.
