If you gage the gun the same as other shotguns, like 12 gage being 12 balls the same diameter that weigh a pound,then the .410 would be a 67 gage,if memory serves me correctly.

Aside from the creative spelling of guage, yes, cooner's got a useful point.

That's why they call it .410 bore. Try it on skeet and you will see why it's called 'the idiot stick", it makes you look like an idiot.
