Is a boresnake enough

I own 7 Dewey rods... 22, 243, and 30 cal covers all of my rifles. These and good bore guides, you're choice of solvent (butch's for me) and a little elbow grease is all you'll ever need. BTW, I have worn out a dewy rod from use...

One note on the Boresnake, NEVER EVER put a swab in the loop.

I have had the drill afew out of C7/C8 barrels after they snap the cord.

I got a great deal on a m-305 because a person did just that ..I removed the barrel and had it out in a couple minutes.

Precision rifles, we have been selling the VFG system and no regrets.

That along with a good quality bore guide, your good to go.

Dewey rods are good - ProShot, Boretech and Montana Extreme rods have better handle bearings. The reduced handle size on the latter three also reduce the tendency to impact the stock with the handle as with the Dewey.
