Is a plain old wooden stick available for 8 inch 10-22 ?

This PMACA chassis and MAGPUL is to fancy for me..I'd like to get rid of it and get a nice wooden stock.

Is anything wooden available off the shelf that will work with a 8" bull barrel ?
It's a 8" DLASK dimpled stainless sporter.

None that I'm aware of, sorry. I've been looking for a while for shorter wood options, and it looks like your only option will be to cut down and refinish a factory length wood stock. Proportions can get weird looking when you do this, though. You don't realize how important the relative sizes of the forend and buttstock are until they are out of whack.

Looks chunky in the front, but Its a good option and I should be able to source a stock for $30 or $50
