Is a semi auto .22 Ok to use with SFC RTS program?

I can't seem to figure this out from their website, it says that the rifle must load single rounds. I know you need to use iron sights, but cannot figure out if it is ok to load a single round in a semi auto like a Ruger 10/22 or will I have to get a bolt action rifle?
