Is a SIG-Sauer Mosquito a good gun?

Ironically, it is one of the better looking .22 semis out there. And you would think that you couldn't go wrong with the Sig Sauer name. However, at the end of the day it is a toy. Any slide that is made of that cheap molded white metal will crack, it is only a matter of time.
Contrast this with the butt-ugly ( I agree beauty is in the eye of the beholder )
Ruger 10/22. Solid, heavy carbon steel through and through, it will survive several hundred thousand rounds more than the Mosquito ever will

i saw on some youtube threads that if you polish the feeding ramp, the mosquito won't jam or ftf. has anyone done this?

yea, i'd like a sig mosquito, if its around the 250-300 range...anything beyond that, i'm getting a cheap 9mm.

Anyone try CCI Blazers through it?

I broke mine in with mini mags and as long as it is kept clean and oiled it works fine with the federal bulk rounds, yellowjacket and even the blazers. It hates the american eagles and will not cycle them through.
I really love the feel of the gun though. It is a blast to shoot.

My Mosquito had some issues at first but after I polished the feed ramp and the chamber it runs alot better, it took about 1/2 hour to do with some very fine sand paper wrapped around a nail and a drill. The barrel was also cut to 106mm, it runs and looks great and is super easy to strip appart without the front weight.

The guys that had the guns brake, if you still have the magzines left I'd like to buy them from you.
