I don't think it is, at least not at this point in time. I just saw 2 of them yesterday at the gun show at Place Desaulniers in Longueuil, although they were of the tube magazine model. They were priced at around $200 or a bit more, IIRC.

I learned to shoot with one of the detach. mag ones which belongs to my dad and shot it for many years. I wanted to have one of my own and when I finally found one about 3 years ago, I bought it. I paid $100 for it, although I negotiated because it had a broken ejector.

These rifles are not exceptionally accurate and are somewhat fussy with ammo, refusing to function reliably with a whole bunch of different ammo. At least mine and my dad's are.

Just out of curiosity, does yours have a bolt hold open pin at the right side of the barrel collar, where it meets the receiver? Mine doesn't, but my dad's rifle has it. I thought it was a feature of the tube fed models, but the two I saw yesterday didn't have it either.

NO NO NO! Though it is a sought after shootable vintage rifle, great gun but not collectable quite yet, there are thousands of these in every town across Canada and the USA, so for that reason they will never be colectable, and they were the 10/22 of its day.
My friends gunshop sold one mint for $300 a few months back!Dale Z!
