While looking for a seater die in 243 I checked out what was available.
The 243 die is on backorder at Brownells and the competition die set is a special order 5-8 week wait.
Will a hunting rifle know the difference is perhaps the best was to put it!

I use both Forester and Redding micrometer seating dies. I like the Forster better than the Redding. Both can be found in Canada , try Hirsch precision or X-Reload.

While you would probably see some group size improvement with a micrometer seating die I think for hunting purposes there is minimal advantage over standard seating dies. An inch one way or another when target shooting can be a big deal. When hitting a deer or coyote, not so much.

The die chamber on the Forster and Redding benchrest seating dies hold the case and bullet in alignment during seating. Meaning these dies keep the bullet from tilting during seating and greatly reduce bullet runout. In a seating die test these type dies could actually slightly correct any case neck runout during bullet seating.
