IMHO, the value in an Arisaka starts with the markings. Is the flower on the receiver ring intact or ground off? From there, I only know that some American gun writers found that the Arisaka action and bolt was incredibly strong - almost too strong to blow up.
You can find parts in the US or on ebay, but you will need a permit for a bolt, barrel. by the end you will have a rifle costing more than it's worth.
