I would love to support a Canadian manufacturer, but I've found a few reviews on youtube that claim that BCL 102 is a piece of garbage because of cycling problems.

Is it really that bad?

I took I nice 2 point with my BCL. Worked well for me. As for the BCL took me many rounds to get it to work right. Once I received new gas rings and extractor it seemed to be reliable. I will use it again next season as my deer rifle. Always have a back up gun anyway in the event one goes down.

Even though I got nothing but tag soup this year I was out often with my stag10 in 308. Comfortable rifle to hump all day and it's a great shooter with accurate components. Any deer within 300m would have been mine no questions asked.
Don't discount the semi autos, especially if you purpose build it.

Not a good rifle.

Lots of great companies making guns in Canada. Unfortunately BCL isn't one of them.

Yes, the BCL is a good hunting rifle because it will make you go hunting for a stag................... a Stag 10 that is.

Here we go again, again and again. Many people have not had any issues including myself. Personally I would not use as a hunting rifle being more in favour of a lighter, bolt action rifle.

Well, why don't you make a youtube video to share your positive experiences, because I found only negative reviews.

the receivers themselves are meh, but if you put good parts in them they will run.

id just go the stag-10 route and be happy.

I have both rifles, and the BCL sits in my safe. I havent had it out in well over a year since i built my stag.
