Is CIL C300 the same as 700x

I was wondering is C300the same as 700x and dose it have the same properties as it. I have been gifted some and wanted to know if I could load 45 ACP 230gr rn 44 mag 250gr LSWC and .357 mag 168 LSWC with it. I can find load data for 700x and other shot gun powders but not for C300 I have heard some people refer to C300 to be similar to 700x. I was just curios if people had any load data or good recipes or could point me to a source that would have the info.

When I first started reloading shotshells (late 70's) my uncle bought a 10lb keg of C300 from a gun store in Toronto and was told by the salesperson that it was equivalent to 700-X. I used it accordingly (I wouldn't be so trusting today). Unfortunately I can't recall ever seeing any actual data.
 
I am unfamiliar with C300.

700X is a very fast powder, so if it was me, I would make up some loads using 700X Start load data, and then go from there.

If you were told it was Unique, you would be taking a chance loading a much bigger dose of powder.

Funny enough I am almost through my keg of unique, I have an 8 lb of c300 and not sure what to do with it. I may try that thank you for your input
