Is frontier firearms selling the new improved ranch rifles?

I am curious if the ruger mini-14 ranch rifles on frontiers website are the new style with the front and rear sight having protective wings?

Since Ruger doesn't make the old model & the fact that the picture on there web page is the new one . Call me crazy but I would say yes they are the new model

The new ones. 580 models, I bought one few weeks ago.
1"@50 yards with 2-7 scope and UMC ammo.
